Description
Kevin started homebrewing in the late 1980s, making a few good beers but probably more that were not so good at first. After taking a year or two off from brewing he started back up in 1992 with a few friends from work, and even started a mail order homebrew supply business call Big Butt Brewing. OK so it was less a “business” than it was a way to get supplies at wholesale, but that was long ago.
In 2012 after 9 years of marriage to Cathy, Kevin saw a post on Facebook from an old college friend who’d built a really cool all-electric homebrewing setup. Upon telling Cathy he was going to get back into homebrewing she said “Why don’t we open a brewery?”. And the rest as they say is history!
