What makes us truly unique? In 2023, MSU Denver unveiled the Charlie Papazian Brewing Education Lab beside Degree. Named after the founder of the Great American Beer Festival and the craft-beer industry’s leading trade association, this state-of-the-art facility helps students prepare for careers in Colorado’s thriving brewing industry, home to over 400 breweries.
The lab’s centerpiece is a 3.5-barrel commercial brewing system, allowing students to design, brew, and serve their own beers at Degree Brewpub. Plus, every dollar you spend here supports MSU Denver students, providing hands-on experience and funding scholarships through the MSU Denver Foundation.
